the Olympics are in town

On September 21st I'll be bidding adieu to Los Angeles, and heading down to San Diego. My roommates and I are in the process of waiting for a confirmation call regarding our proof of income, either that or confirmation of our co-signer, we put in both just in case of anything. When we went in to get our place we took our parents for a tour of the place and the model apartment and as soon as we were talking about it we saw three other girls coming in to have a tour of that same apartment so with that we agreed in about 10 seconds regarding the apartment and put down our deposit in order to reserve it. Which was pure luck since 10 minutes after their tour they came and said that they wanted that apartment, which to their disappointment the lady told them "Oh I'm sorry that condo was just sold this morning." We were so lucky to have come right on time, the only downside is that our move in date would pushed really late til the 21st of September. But it was our first choice of places and of course its a dual master and it has the most amenities of any other place in San Diego.

Also the Olympics are on today, just the opening ceremonies I presume. But I really can't wait til the real competitions start. Of course the fashion show of the Olympics is what is the most interesting part of the ceremonies.

But of course I am waiting for my favorite event, which wont be held until a bit later, but this is basically the only reason I watch the Olympics.
